This spreader was purchased in September at the start of an intensive performance green program recommended by John. During the last few months its performance has been well and truly tested and it has proved to be an excellent buy – great value for money. In that time we have distributed 500Kg of TraceOlite, 75Kg of Gypsum and 40Kg of MycoGro without a hitch. The facility to set and lock the spread rate gives accurate control and prevents accidental overdosing. The deflector shields are a real benefit in controlling the spread pattern especially around the green edges. The easily attached rain cover was appreciated when a sharp shower caught us out part way through a treatment and protected the very dry granules from quickly soaking up the rain.
The only minor negative was the instruction book which could do with having larger print and clearer diagrams to make assembly easier. We also needed to convert the table to grams and square metres to work out the spread rates for our green.
That aside we are very pleased to recommend it – the machine is very easy to use and with the robust construction and stainless steel frame we are looking forward to a long service life.
