Nitrogenous fertilisers with humates and organic nutrients derived from animal origin i.e. Hoof and horn 10% & blood meal 2.5%.

SSD 8.0.6 + 1.1% Fe + 0.5% Mg contains magnesium and iron to promote and improve turf colour, along with a seaweed extract to act as a turf tonic and microbial biostimulant.

Excellent for use on all closely mown sports turf. Recommended for use in the spring and summer. SSD fertilisers promote root and shoot development and help the plant combat stress. The added humates are excellent chelating agents making the nutrients more available to the grass.

SSD fertilisers may be applied through all conventional spreading equipment. The humates and organic nutrients in SSD fertilisers feed the bacteria and fungi that form the base of the soil food web, promoting plant health and vigour. This encourages nutrient retention, promotion of perennial grasses and thatch degradation. They will also improve soil friability for increased root development and faster percolation.

The inorganic content provides immediate nitrogen release, while the organic content provides slow release nitrogen for up to 8 weeks.
