Easy Fundraising

“A new and innovative way your club can raise funds through its members is to sign up for Easy Fundraising. Easy Fundraising provides a FREE fundraising service where funds can be raised for the club by your club members every time they shop online.

Choose from over 2000 of the UK’s best-known retailers including many popular names such as Amazon, Next, Argos, John Lewis and HMV, and when you shop using the links on the site up to 15% from every purchase made is donated to the club. It doesn’t cost a penny extra to shop and raise funds for your cause using our site, and as many retailers now give extra discounts when you buy online, you can even save money This could provide an ongoing source of funding for the club.”

I’ve personally used this service to help raise funds for projects at my Daughters’ Primary School, so I can recommend it.

The main challenge is to make sure everyone in the club continues to use the site when they are shopping online, but you can make that easier by providing a link to Easy Fundraising on your own club site.

You can also earn donations from purchases in real shops if your user register their card details and are linked to your cause at Easy Fundraising.

Quick Start Guide

Amazon Associates

Amazon Associates

Online giant Amazon sells a lot more than just books these days. In fact it would probably be easier to list what it doesn’t sell!

The good thing about its huge reach and influence is that Amazon has a thriving Affiliates program called Amazon Associates which allows you to earn income from sales made on any of Amazon’s sites worldwide.

You can sign up as an Amazon Associate here

After you sign up, there will be a short delay until they check out your website and then you will be free to start making some income for your club.

This can be as simple or as elaborate as you want to make it.

Simple Start

At first you might just want to create a simple Amazon link (associated with your account) on your site and let your members know to click through from that link when they want to shop at Amazon.

More Involved

Later you might want to get more ambitious with this, and the sky really is the limit. You can promote links to specific products and categories of goods, or you can even embed a full Amazon store with your own branding and colour scheme right on your own site
