Liquid Endo Mycorrhizae 200ml

£123.97

Liquid Endo Mycorrhizal Inoculant contains a minimum of 1,100,000 Endo-mycorrhizal Propagules per litre. It promotes rapid root and shot growth for fine perennial grasses without encouraging Poa annua.

MYCORRHIZAL GRASS can grow up to twice as fast as grass without the benefit of mycorrhizal association.

Mycorrhizal fungi form a symbiotic relationship with the grass root. All perennial grasses naturally associate with mycorrhizal fungi.

Research shows that mycorrhizal grass may

 Grow twice as fast as grass in a sterile rootzone
 Use up to 30% less water
 Use up to 50% less fertiliser

APPLICATION AND TIMING Liquid Mycorrhizae May be applied as a seed coat, drench, mixed with compost teas or injected into the rootzone by Ground probe Aeration.

DO NOT MIX apply with inorganic fertilisers or Pesticides. Only prepare sufficient diluted inoculant for use within 12 hours Seeds and newly sown turf

Apply 200 mls per hectare regardless of seed quantity. Apply as a seedcoat by diluting in enough water to evenly coat the seeds and allow to dry before sowing.

For new sports pitches, greens tees and fairways, apply with enough water to drench the top 1-2 cm of soil no more than 3 days before seeding. Add 10 litres of humic acid or liquid seaweed per hectare as a nutrient source for early growth

Damage repair To immediately relieve compaction, aerate the rootzone and apply mycorrhizae, compost tea biostimulants and trace elements we recommend injection via Ground Probe Aeration.

For small areas of sparse cover or bare ground Decompact the area ideally use Liquid Mycorrhizae with compost teas to apply a complete soil food web into your rootzone.

Use as a seed coat or drench the soil before seeding or spray over the seed immediately after seeding Compost Teas Add 200 mls per hectare to be sprayed to the tea just before you switch off the air pump. Do not apply as a foliar spray the inoculant must touch the plant root to be effective

Always use chlorine – free water to dilute the inoculant. Allow mains water to stand for at least 1 hour to allow any residual chlorine to dissipate

Precaution Keep cool. Protect from sunlight. Avoid breathing spray. IF INHALED: If breathing is difficult, remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing IF ON SKIN: Gently wash with plenty of soap and water. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations

FOR BEST RESULTS Mycorrhizal plants access nutrient and water more effectively. If your plants are effectively colonised by mycorrhizae, you will be able to reduce fertiliser and water requirements. Fertiliser savings of up to 50% are possible. Use slow release fertilisers that are low in phosphate. For advice on suitable nutrition, consult John at Bowls Central.

HEALTHY MYCORRHIZAL PLANTS usually have a greater resistance to disease. However, if fungicides are needed, please refer to our advice sheet on fungicide compatibility and application. Herbicides and insecticides which do not harm the plant will not interfere with mycorrhizal fungal development.
